XperienCentral Standard Plugins

The table of standard plugins below contains two columns: "Plugin Name" and "Level." The name of the plugin in the table is the same one that is found in the Plugins Management Console. The "Level" column shows the starting level of the plugin. Plugins in XperienCentral are divided into starting levels, beginning at the lowest level and increasing from there. Core XperienCentral plugins have a low level and plugins that depend on the core functionality have a higher level. Generally speaking, a plugin can have a dependency on one at a lower level but not vice versa.

 Standard Add-ons

XperienCentral Standard Add-ons

XperienCentral add-ons are plugins that have their own release lifecycle and which are not directly tied to a specific version of XperienCentral. Add-ons can be added, updated or removed from XperienCentral independently. Since version R23, some add-ons are included by default in certain XperienCentral editions. Add-ons are covered under your maintenance contract and they always have a starting level of 25.

The table below contains three more columns than the table of standard plugins: "Version", "Headless" and "Traditional." In the "Headless" and "Traditional" columns, a "+" indicates that the add-on is included in this edition and is also available by default (unless otherwise configured). The "Version" indicates which version of the add-on is included in this XperienCentral version. The actual version in your environment may be different if the add-on was updated between releases by your application manager. New versions of add-ons are available as needed. Contact your application manager and/or GX Consultant if you have a question about the version of an add-on that is running in your deployment.

 Core Components

Core Components

Core components provide specific functionalities within XperienCentral. Some functionalities directly correspond to a standard component, but this is not the case for all of them. An example is support for deployments which is a functionality that is a standard part of both the Traditional and Headless editions, but there is no one to one correspondence with a specific component directly related to this functionality.

The available standard functionalities vary by edition. The Headless edition contains fewer standard functionalities than the Traditional edition. The table below shows which standard functionalities are part of Traditional but not of Headless. If a particular standard functionality is removed in a specific 10.X version, the last column indicates the version from which this functionality was removed. This is not a complete list of all functionalities - it only includes standard functionalities that are not available in every version and edition. The "+" indicates that the functionality is included in this edition and is also available by default (unless otherwise configured).

The table below contains three extra columns than the table of standard plugins: "Version", "Headless" and "Traditional." In the "Headless" and "Traditional" columns, a "+" indicates that the add-on is included in this edition and is also available by default (unless otherwise configured).
