If you continue developing in Eclipse after upgrading to a new version of XperienCentral, you might need to make some changes to your Eclipse and project configuration. Assuming you installed XperienCentral in a new folder (for example, C:\GX\XperienCentral), the following changes should be made to environment variables and configuration files:

  1. Modify the environment variable M2_REPO (see Configuring Eclipse to Develop Plugins).
  2. Modify the path to the tag libraries (see Tag Libraries).
  3. Check and modify if necessary the clean up, code template and formatter profiles (see Clean Up, Code Templates and Formatter).
  4. Check and modify if necessary the checkstyle code conventions file (see Checkstyle).
  5. Check and modify if necessary the path of settings.xml (see Configure a New External Tool).
  6. If you change the version of Maven that you are using, modify the path to Maven (see Configure a New External Tool).
