Page Comparison

In XperienCentral, a "page section" is a block of content that can be shown on multiple content items at different specified locations on those content items. When implementing custom code handling or manipulating page sections, it is important as a developer it is important to understand be aware that the name for the ' page section ' concept in earlier days was 'block'was previously referred to using the term "block". This old name term can still be found in several interfaces, classes and class members in the XperienCentrals code base. The names 'Generally speaking, the terms "page section' " and '"block' " are completely interchangeable, but it is encouraged synonymous, however we encourage you to use the new name 'term "page section' " in your custom code where possible.
